Washington State Certified Asbestos Classes
- Asbestos Worker
- Asbestos Supervisor
There is no longer a 30-day grace period. You must take a refresher on or before your expiration date.
If you fail to take a refresher class on or before your expiration date, you have six months after that date to attend a refresher class but you must also take and pass a Department of Labor and Industries exam in order to be recertified. This exam must be taken at an asbestos training provider such as Argus Pacific.
However, if you go longer than six months past your expiration date without taking a refresher class, you are required to retake the initial certification class.
