Indoor Environmental Quality

The quality of indoor environments can be adversely affected by a number of elements. When you suspect that health symptoms are being caused by the indoor environment, a range of potential causes may need to be investigated: mold, odors, particles, chemicals, ventilation, and even interpersonal dynamics.

At Argus Pacific, we work with our clients and their partners to help identify the causes of indoor environmental quality problems so they can be eliminated, minimized, or managed. We respond quickly to service requests, create concise work plans, and deliver reports that are accurate and easy to understand.

    Seattle Housing Authority
    Staff Facility Assessments

Argus Pacific has conducted several IEQ investigations for SHA's staff facilities since 2001. We started each project with staff interviews that enabled us to build accurate symptom profiles and develop a cost- effective sampling strategy. Assessments included visual inspections and instrument-aided measurements.

After interpreting data, we issued written reports with recommendations to improve air quality and other indoor environmental stressors.
