We at Argus Pacific grieve the loss of Neil Callahan, one of the founding owners and a principal in the firm. Neil unexpectedly passed away on Dec. 12, 2007. Neil had a long and successful career in health and safety. He helped create and grow three industrial hygiene companies during his career in Seattle. He played an important role in fostering better health and safety in the shipyards of Portland and Seattle in his earlier years and then later throughout the Northwest. In his role as principal in the firm, he also was the Program Manager for Hazardous Building Materials at the Port of Seattle as well as a consultant for mold and indoor air quality. Neil brought focus, enthusiasm and commitment to his work in such a way that he inspired and led others to grow and excel in their own professional roles. His style was direct yet compassionate, and always punctuated with humor and a positive note. We will miss Neil dearly.
