1. Washington State Certified Asbestos Classes
- Asbestos Supervisor Initial

- Asbestos Worker Initial
- Asbestos Worker Refresher
There is no longer a 30 day grace period after the expiration date for Asbestos Worker and Supervisor. If you fail to take a refresher class on or before the expiration date, you have six months to take the refresher without being required to take the initial certification class again. However, in addition, you must pay for and pass a Dept. of Labor and Industries exam given by Lasergrade.com in order to be recertified. On the other hand, if you go longer than 6 months past your expiration date without taking a refresher class you are required to take the initial certification class all over again.

All the classes in this section are regulated by OSHA and DOSH (except DOT Hazmat Transportation) but rather than the agencies providing initial and refresher certification, Argus Pacific provides the certification documentation. Regulations require that employers have employees be able to demonstrate skills in these topics appropriate to work place conditions.
The courses below require annual refresher training but also have no strict guidelines for grace periods after expiration. If you are not actively working in the field for a year or two and miss your refreshers but then need to go back out and perform field work you will need to attend a refresher prior to re-entering field work.
The following classes require a refresher very three years and is regulated by the U.S. Dept. of Transportation:
- DOT Hazmat Transportation 8 hr
The classes below do not have specific refresher requirements but may have re-training needed when job conditions and/or responsibilities change:
- Confined Space Safety

- Mold Management
- OSHA Construction Safety 10 hr
