SUE MAAS is Argus Pacific's Training Division Manager, although she's been a trainer with the firm since 1997, our first year in business. She has
over 15 years of training and training management experience in the
Pacific Northwest, and is one of the most recognized instructors in the
regional HazMat industry. Sue has trained over 10,000 students from a
wide variety of public and private- sector organizations including
engineering, hazardous waste, construction, environmental consulting,
and asbestos abatement.
Sue is on the board of directors of the Pacific Northwest
Chapter of the Association of Hazardous Materials Managers and assists
the chapter in planning the Certified Hazardous Materials Manager overview course. Before joining Argus Pacific, Sue was the training manager for another Seattle industrial hygiene firm. She holds a bachelor of arts in biology and geology from Whitman College (Walla Walla, Washington), and a teaching certificate in secondary science from the University of
Washington.
